Free Entitlement
What is Free Entitlement?
Free Entitlement (FE) funding is provided by the government. The funding offers a free place with childcare providers (childminders, nursery or pre-school), allowing all children between the ages of 3 and 4 to have access to good quality early years care and education. All 3 year olds and some 2 year olds are eligible for up to 15 hours free childcare per week, (term time only) Working parents may also be eligible for a further 15 hours (30 hours free).
